![]() ![]() Introducing collection of community VS themes Now, we’re working with community theme authors to test a new theme conversion tool so that Visual Studio can further fit your habits and preferences. We’ve been building capabilities for syncing your VS theme to your Windows theme, new ways to manage your tabs and documents, and color coding your workspace. Every developer has unique personalization preferences. We know that picking a great theme is as important as picking an office chair. ![]() Personalize Visual Studio with Community Themes This way, you now have the flexibility to choose from new community themes in Visual Studio 2022. We’ve teamed up with theme authors from the community to test a new tool that converts VS Code themes to work in Visual Studio. This document will show you how to install the theme on VS Code, and how to develop and contribute to this project. We are on a journey to make Visual Studio more flexible than ever, so that you can make the IDE work just the way you like it! One of our key focus areas for Visual Studio 2022 is to build a personal, flexible IDE that you can make your own. One Dark ProĪtom's iconic One Dark theme, and one of the most installed themes for VS Code! One Dark Pro is based on Atom's default One Dark theme, and is one of the most downloaded themes for VS Code. As of 1.0.0, there's a Light Owl Theme too! Color balanced from the Dark version for easy viewing in daylight. Color choices have taken into consideration what is accessible to people with colorblindness and in low-light circumstances. Fine-tuned for those of us who like to code late into the night. Night Owl is a Visual Studio Code theme for the night owls out there. If you come across a weird style or have suggestions for improvements, submit an issue with the information. Search for Outrun, install, and then set it as your theme! Outrun is a new theme and has not been tested with all languages/editor features. Outrun is available on the Extension Marketplace. Outrun is a fully custom theme for VS Code inspired by the colors, style, and culture of the synth-wave music scene. One of the excellent most downloaded and top-rated VSCode Themes on the marketplace. Shades of PurpleĪ professional theme with hand-picked & bold shades of purple for your VS Code editor and terminal. They are designed to help you quickly find the right files in your project. The icons of Monokai Pro have all been created from scratch to ensure they are easily recognizable on small sizes in the side bar. The single goal of Monokai Pro is to let you focus on your code. Carefully selected shades of colors are the foundation of an uncompromising, non-distractive user interface. It has been designed by the author of the original Monokai colors. ![]() Monokai Pro is a color scheme, customized user interface theme, and complete icon set for Visual Studio Code. This theme uses minimal contrast across the first three variants, but if you feel like the workbench could use a bit more, there's an experimental mild contrast variant under the name Palenight (Mild Contrast). Palenight is an elegant and juicy material-inspired theme for Visual Studio Code. By association, that means I've also taken heavy influence from the excellent retro-tinged artwork of James White (check out his work, it's awesome). This colour scheme is influenced by the music and the cover artwork of modern Synthwave bands like FM-84, Timecop 1983 and The Midnight. SynthWave '84ĭo you remember that endless summer back in '84? Cruising down the ocean-highway with the top down, the wind in our hair and heads buzzing with neon dreams? No, I don't remember it either, but with this experimental theme, we can go there. Sublime Material is a port to align the style of the theme with the default VSCode chrome that cannot be changed atm. The Github theme provides you with the look and feel of the famous code hosting platform for version control and collaboration. ![]()
